I tried applying online for CES for New Jersey and it just said that NJ BON doesn't require CES for Endorsement of Registered Nurses, I'm endorsing from California by the way. What does it need from CGFNS then? I've been reading posts but i found posts that are dated back in 2006, so I feel that there has been changes since then. Thank you very much!

Unless you have a SSN and been issued a SSN then you have not got a license to endorse. You have to follow requirements for the BON and then complete form licensure by exam and results forwarded to new BON.

If you are from the Philippines, and do not have a SSN#, then you do not have a CA license to endorse. You have just a letter that you passed the exam.
You must use the License by Examination procedure to be able to get licensed in NJ, and that requires that you complete the CES first.
Please also be aware that NJ does not issue a license without the SSN# either.
Please contact the BON for NJ to see if they have made changes to their policy if you have an actual license in CA. Rules change all of the time, but from last time that I checked, they still needed the CES to endorse. I would check directly with the BON and not CGFNS on this since the BON is the one that sets their own rules.
okay! thank you silverdragon and Suzanne!
