You do not enter information into the handbook. On this page:
http://www.cgfns.org/sections/programs/ces/
there are 2 options - create an online account and submit via computer, or download the handbook, print it out and send in by mail.

If doing it online make sure you check everything is right before you submit it as any errors will cost you a delay and can only be corrected by contacting CGFNS. Probably better to do it by snail mail and know everything is right
i will send my application form via airmail..is there a downloadable CES form that you can directly type info by computer typing just like the application form for nclex for the state of CA?...is it true that it is complicated to accomplish the necessary documents for CES?,what are some of the risk,so that i may be well aware of those..thank you for reading my message, hope you can help me..thanks!
As mentioned, if you are sending via mail, you PRINT the application form and then fill the fields by hand writing them.

if you will apply online be sure you already have the informations at hand to avoid commiting errors. i applied online and took me 1 hour to answer all the informations because i was double checking it. after 2 months i already have the report.

Print the application and then complete it and enclose it with the other documents that you are sending into CGFNS. This is always the easiest way to do things.
Illinois will not even look at your application until they have received the CES report from CGFNS, so no reason to submit your application for licensure any earlier to them.
CA has an application for licensure, just like every other state. There is no application for the NCLEX exam that you are applying for.
Anytime that there have been issues with any application sent to CGFNS, it has been with the on-line applications; once submitted, no changes can be made to it. And any date that is off or spelling of something will cause major headaches for you to straighten out.
okay thanks! it was cleared to me now.. i just got confused because a friend of mine had her CES application assisted with some agency its called NEAC here..and she told me that her CES app is not hand written.. thank you for helping me!
one more thing, i had to register online to get the ID # that should be included in the request for TOR and validation of license.. do i have to pay first the application fee through a bankdraft and send it to CGFNS, before getting the ID #?..i need the ID # coz i cant submit my request forms without having those...

what did you put in the schools attended?
i dont know what to put in the primary, intermediate and secondary schools.
how can i pay thru credit card?
Always, always send everything by courier service. Please do not use regular air-mail from there.
You will not receive the CGFNS ID# until they actually process your application, and they will not look at it or do anything with it without receiving payment for it.
