Time off Before School Starts

Specialties CRNA

I am starting my CRNA program at the end of August...I need to let my NM know my last day...should I take a vacation for a week or two to mentally prepare myself for school? I had planned on working right up until a couple of days before, but am now reconsidering...maybe a few days at home would be nice to clear my mind before school!

:balloons: Definitely take some time for yourself. The last you will be able to do for a few years. Enjoy it while you can................

And, Good luck!!!!!!!!!! :balloons:

Take at least 2 weeks off! You will need this time to build up energy for the fall semester!!!! Good Luck! Where are you going?

I am also starting in Aug of this year, I am giving my NM my two weeks notice on the 14th of this month I am going to enjoy the summer off with my family, and also get used to being broke, good luck and relax now while you can nec :)

I will be at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland OH.

take it off and enjoy it...cause you have 2.5 long years ahead...trust me..:)

I start school at the end of August as well. My last day of work is July 27, and I am counting the days!!! I would take as much time as you can. An extra month of borrowing $$ will make no difference in the long run, but the time off will!

I'm going to Hawaii for a week before school starts at the end of August, and then I'll be doing a 3 day big game fishing trip off San Diego. I'm packing my last weeks of freedom in before the first day of class. Take advantage of whatever free time you have before school starts.

Play hard--work hard!

I was curious to know what school will you be attending?

If you've never been to Europe, I highly recommend it. A backpacking trip from hostel to hostel could be a fun and contemplative way to prepare yourself for a lot of sitting and studying.

...Or maybe you're more of a beach person.

I have heard about these hostels, where can I find out more about them?

Thanks in advance
