Mayo clinic

  1. I've heard some CRNA programs such as the Mayo Clinic program do not offer much experience or training in regional anesthesia, fiberoptic intubations, and central line placement due to the competition with the MD residents. Are these graduate CRNAs at a disadvantage when looking for employment?

I interviewed @ Mayo and there is a lack of regional/line placement problem. I think that it's due to the chief anesthesiologist being a big-wig in the ASA, maybe even president. However, I have 2 friends that went there and were happy with their education and the jobs they got afterwards. price was right too -$7000 for the whole program a few years ago.
