They will win the PR war. The general public has not been keen on critical thinking skills. The ASA now has a president who has been a CRNA. As for politicians... they are not the " Best and Brightest" of our society... ( Think Sarah Palin)...Dr Fitch can now use the ASA's "They do not know what they do not know" argument with impunity.

Yeah your opinion but it will be an uphill battle for legislation that is already in place. Think affordable are act.

You seemed very pumped about this idea that CRNAs will now be put in their place which begs the question of your profession? I'm guessing med student or anesthesiology resident.

As I just left Alaska and saw the job Sarah did, I found your comparison only highlights the lack of critical thinking skills. Keep believing what the media spoons feeds you.

You would guess wrong. I only think the AANA has mishandled the entire ASA/AANA war over the years. My AANA number is 042XXX.. I've been at this a while.

If you do not think the election of Dr Fitch is a huge advantage for the ASA.... you have "Quaffed deeply and have become intoxicated" with the AANA Kool-Aid.

How do you suppose the AANA can now counter the " They do not know what they do not know" strategy, which is the cornerstone of the ASA's PR propaganda?

I'm not shocked that a dissenting voice would immediately bring accusations of being an MDA or AA. The AANA force is strong , I see, in this one.

Come on now. Not willing to share? Truthfully I had never heard of this person before you posted her name. After reading her position I have to tell you that it didn't scare me. Asking you if you are a MDA or AA shouldn't be an accusation. You should be proud of whatever profession you are in but with your lack of being up front you show that you are either ashamed or afraid. Just my opinion.
