This forum is amazing to discuss different aspects of this awesome Anesthesia field.I found the hours worked thread for nurses but not of CRNAs. So guys please tell the number of hours you currently work or worked in past.I know many practitioners who work 55 hours. So tell yours.

Are most here salary or hourly?

I know that I can receive a wide range of answers for this question, but I'll ask anyway. Do CRNAs ever work just 40 hours/week in a HOSPITAL setting? I assume with mandatory call time, most CRNAs put in greater than 40 hours/week consistently.

This is what I plan to do at least until my student loans are paid off. Then we'll see how many hours a week are conducive to a healthy work/life balance.

I am salary but have the opportunity to work extra at locum pay for the extra time. As a new CRNA I work anywhere from 45-55 hours/week.
