BSN with 1.5 years experience on Acute Medicine Primary Care at large teaching/Magnet hospital in another state. I would so appreciate hearing feedback regarding hospitals (or other opportunities) in Peoria, Springfield, Champaign/Urbana and Bloomington, IL. This job is tough, but really I enjoy learning new things and meeting new people every week. Thank you!

Specializes in NICU, ICU, PICU, Academia. Has 44 years experience.

Perhaps if you had a mod move this to the state specific thread you might get better responses? I went to LPN school in Springfield - but that was 40 years ago.....so not much help from me.

Will move this to career forum.

I live in central IL. OSF Saint Francis is well-regarded and respected. As a level 1 trauma center it has all the bells and whistles you could want. I worked for them for 10 years in the ER and loved every minute of it. Best wishes.
