i had a friend work there for almost a year at the inglewood campus. She hated it and went to Harbor UCLA. They do offer a $10,000 sign on bonus. i do not know how well their pay rate is though but clientele is mostly the poor or homeless.

Inglewood is not the safest area in LA (that's one reason for the big sign on bonus). The Marina hospital is located in a very nice expensive area (Marina Del Rey) but is small and I really wonder how much longer it will stay open as an acute care hospital. Centinela was owned by Tenet and Marina was owned by Catholic order of nuns. Both were sold about 1 1/2 years ago to doctors who are now running both. It's a very strange combo.
Thanks for the replies. Very much appreciated. Hope there are more who can give more info. on their current status.

I worked at the Inglewood campus (Centinela) for 10 years and I loved all of it...I started there as a CNA to Unit Secretary/Monitor Tech to LVN...I learned so much there...I loved all my co-workers...Good place to gain experience...Very, very busy...Good cardiac and ortho doctors...Very stable, official hospital for the Dodgers, Sparks, Lakers and Kings...As for the Memorial or the Marina, they are not as busy as Centinela is...only reason I left was to work closer to home and at times I regret leaving....
