I was accepted to Centennial college for Practical Nursing (flex) for Fall 2016, and I was wondering what the classes were like (how long, work load), and where your placement work was done? Also, what was your experience at your placement like?
Thanks

HI.
will be attending Centennial College flex RPN program this Sept 2017 and was wondering if anyone has any tips, suggestions for me. I was also wondering for the math cpurse PNUR 145 wpuld we be able to use a calcualtpr. Math isnt my stongest though i have been studying alot on dosage calucations. Calculators would be nice to have to check my answers. Thank you for your time. It be greatly appreciated.
I would recommend that you start your readings ASAP, especially for anatomy and physiology. Anatomy and physiology has a lot of readings and is the backbone to most of the programs courses.
For PNUR 145, you are not permitted to use a calculator for tests and quizzes. I would recommend doing additional practice questions in order to have a greater understanding of the concepts. You are expected to be able to work with decimals, fractions and percentages without a calculator. Depending on your professor, he/she may allow a calculator during class. However, my professor did not allow us to use them. PNUR 145 is easy if you do your readings and homework. If only doing the readings and homework doesn't work, I would recommend watching khan academy videos for arithmetic.
I hope that helps and good luck!
Thank you for your time and suggestions. They help alot. Good luck to you.

Hello! Im starting the Flex RPN program in May 2018, I'm wondering what '1A' '1B' refers to, do you take both streams per semester or one or the other...?
Thanks!
