Nurses Week is here. We’ve already started the celebration early with contests and a list of Freebies for Nurses. Now...something else to add… An article contest. This article contest will be different than the rest.

Celebrate Nurses Article Contest

$600 in Cash Prizes! $200 Each for the Top 3 Articles

As nurses, you know about many of the different facets of the nursing profession, but I'll bet no one knows all there is to know about all the various specialties and areas of nursing.  Nursing is not a one-size-fits-all. Yes, we all have a license.  But there are so many nursing specialties and different types of jobs that require specialized nursing training. Who better to highlight a day in the lives of nurses walking many different paths in their careers than the fabulous nurses here at allnurses?

Article Topics:

For this contest, we want you to share the specialty area you work in, the training required, your job description, a typical day, why you chose this area of nursing, etc.  This is a great way to celebrate the vast diversity of the nursing profession.

Contest Rules:

  • Article tone and content must comply with our contest rules and Terms of Service.
  • Articles must have a minimum of 600 words.
  • Articles must be submitted between May 6th and June 30th
  • No plagiarism - your article must be written in your own words and cannot be posted on other websites, blogs, etc. prior to posting on allnurses.
  • Articles will be reviewed and approved by staff for consideration before displaying publicly.
  • Articles must be unique, articles should not be listed on other websites, blogs, article sites etc. prior to posting on allnurses.
  • You may submit multiple articles.
  • You grant permission to allnurses.com rights to publish in magazines, books, etc. You will be notified and credited if published.
  • Keep personal formatting choices such as font choice and size to a minimum - use only for headings.
  • Check grammar, punctuation, and spelling before clicking SUBMIT.
  • Upon closure of the contest, all articles will be reviewed and the top 10 will be selected. The top 3 articles will be decided by a vote of the members.

Who Can Enter?

This contest is open to nurses of all specialties.  You don’t have to be an experienced writer. As long as you are a nurse with any experience at all, you have something to share.  We are hoping to get articles from nurses across the wide variety of nursing specialties.
