I am a Canadian trained RN with 7+ years experience. I passed the NCLEX, have my Texas license, have my AHA BLS, my Bio/Chemo Card and a Visascreen. I want to be in Austin, TX for the winter but no hospital will hire me because I don't have a SSN or a visa.. I don't want to move permanently (I want to be back in Vancouver for April). I have tried apply directly to the hospitals, and through multiple different agencies.Does anyone have tips or tricks to getting into Texas for a contract for the winter?
