Hi! I just got an offer to work on a ccu/tele floor as an LVN. Can anyone please give me an idea of what should I expect? I've never worked this unit before and I'm excited about this opportunity. What are some tips/advice for an LVN working this unit? TIA
Hmm, will you be working in an RN-LVN team? Taking your own patients?
In the CCU I work in, LPN's are the "flex nurses" - they give breaks to the RNs, help with admissions, and help with tasks if a primary nurse is falling behind. They are so freaking helpful. They aren't assigned their own patient load nor any specific nurse to work with.
