1. Hi, I am currently writing a booklet on DNR to be given to the family of a patient that is not for full resus. We are having a little trouble in finding anything that has already been written and would appreacate any help in this area. Does any of your units have any guidelines or any written material that you can give to the family. Any suggestions or references would be of great help. Jane Aussie

Our unit does not have a guideline. However, www.theunion.com/decisions has some helpful information regarding DNR and end-of-life issues.

Our unit doesn't have any policies or guidelines. But I have found the book " The Rights of the Dying" by David Kessler to be excellent. You also might want to check out some books by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross.
