I am a staff nurse on an Intermediate Care Unit for a local hospital. I want to become Case Management certified through the CCMC. I have a BS in Health Management.

However, If I'm reading their information accurately it states in order to obtain approval to sit for the exam you need to be working or have experience in Case Management.

Most Case Management jobs require certification, but if I can't obtain the certification how can I ever move into Case Management?

I guess my question is, does my experience as staff nurse in any way suffice for the experience requirement?
