CCBC Online Classes Question

I'm taking my prereqs now so I can apply to the nursing program (can't wait! ). Anyway, this is my 1st online class and the professor was online for the first 8 days and that's it. It's a 5 week class and moves very quickly (it ends on Sat). Is that what online classes are like at CCBC? I'm confused, what is there even a teacher for? She hasn't graded anything past week 1 and came online for 5 seconds last week to say she was at a conference and had limited online access and she'd get to all her emails when she had time. If that's how most CCBC online classes are let me know because I'll just take a physical class so I can ask questions ect. I HAVE to get the best grade I can get and need some sort of support (at least being available) from whoever teaches the class.

Is there a CCBC message board that anyone knows about where you can get the scoop on different professors?

Which class are you taking?

I took A&P II online and I thought it was no different than the campus course. The teacher recorded lectures and had many power point presentations and responded promptly to emails. I'm currently taking Dosage online and so far the Modules are very detailed. I guess it depends on the teacher.
