CBC WSU Tri-Cities 2018

Published

Hi everyone! I noticed there wasn't a thread for 2018 yet. I thought this would be a good way to meet people and see where everyone is at. Is anyone applying to WSU Tri-Cities or CBC for Fall 2018? If so, would you like to share your progress, experiences, index scores, and TEAS scores?

I'll start:

I plan on applying to both schools. I have only taken the TEAS test once and got a 74%. I was a nervous wreck when I took it. Hopefully, I'll do better the second time. So far my index score is okaayy. I believe I'm sitting at a 26.025. I'm very nervous about applying.. :nailbiting:

Hi there. I am applying for Fall 2018 but nervous. Right now my index score sits at 25.879 :( I do retake the TEAS on the 22nd and hoping that I will do better than my previous 78.7.

kelylynn1, how did you do on your teas retake? Hopefully it bumped up your score. I feel like the index scores are getting more and more competitive. I heard last year the lowest score was in a high 25, not sure the exact decimal point though.

Hi I did well. I was happy. I got a 86.7 and it bumped up my score to 26.675. I do know of two people that got in last year with 25.9s. So I am keeping fingers crossed. Turned in my app to CBC on Friday. How about you, did you retake the TEAS for the deadline today?

Wow! That's great. Your score went up by a lot. I think you're going to get in for sure. I did retake my TEAS in February. I didn't do as well as I hoped. I got a 77 which puts me at 26.325. Fingers crossed! Did you apply last year as well? This is my first year applying. I read that they send acceptance/rejection letters in May, but some people have said you'll know if you get in by the second week of April.

I did apply last year and was wait listed. :( We received the letter I want to say it was like May 18th maybe. Everyone said that it was later than normal. Your TEAS score is pretty decent and I think that you do have a pretty good shot. Index score is good. I hear to aim for around 26. I guess in the end it will all depend on the pool of applicants this year.

I forgot to say that last year when I was wait listed my score was 25.6. I ended up repeating Eng 101 for an A instead of a B and redid the TEAS to up my score.

Do you know where you were placed on the wait list? Well, that makes me feel a little bit better. I'm still nervous though lol. If I don't get in this year, I'll most likely retake some classes and apply next year. I applied to WSU Tri-Cities and I'm probably going to apply to YVCC and WWCC. I think CBC might be my first choice though.

They gave the range of 31-40. I did also apply to WWCC this year and YVCC. YVCC has been nothing but a joke in transferring my grades to them. Good luck they are not very friendly unfortunately. I do know that the index score for WWCC last year was just under 32 points.

Hello. I got an 87.3 my first take. That got me at 28.7 index. I only applied to CBC. The program coordinator said the letters will arrive the second week of may.

Hello! I put in my application as well. My index score is 26.375.

I'm hoping to get my letter regarding if I got in or not this week!

Fingers crossed falconersys!!
