Did anyone used aaaceus cd to pass the ccm. I have to retake the ccm in december. http://www.aaaceus.com/examprep-ccmtest.asp?quid=DSTRICSPLG715201073614. thanks for the info!

Hi Ladies! Joy and LIsa, I'm so sorry you didn't pass. It was a difficult exam and I feel that I passed by a mere question. What helped me was going on the CCMC's website and studying their core curriculum. I also got some free CCM courses that offered CEUs. I didn't submit the CEUs, as I figured I would do that if I passed the exam, but I did study all the material. I couldn't afford the expensive discs and such, so I got my hands on any study material that I could find...for free. I also found this guy on line, Linton. They have a mini-sampler exam daily. I took those exams daily and it didn't cost me a thing. I did this over and over for weeks. I found several of the questions on the CCM exam to be similar to those in the mini-sampler exams. I made my own flash cards regarding the laws including Medicare and what it covers, what's part A, B, C, and D; and the ADA, etc. I just studied everything that I could get my hands on. I asked my fellow nurses if they had any CCM materials, and they let me borrow some of their old stuff. The combination of it all, and a lot of prayer, is what got me through. So, don't give up. Take a deep breath and start again. I know several nurses who passed with flying colors the second time. it's just nerve wracking. But YOU CAN DO IT! :D

OMG!!!!!! I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself as I just left my baby in Pittsburgh 420 miles away for college :sniff: and I thought I have to look at this damned test to either, get happy or dig deeper into depression...... and I PAssed!!!! Holy crap I passed!!!! :yeah:I have to say that the most helpful thing was reading Rn1Iam thread back in July, if it weren't for reading your thread the night before I took that test, I would not have passed!! It helped me soo much, I feel that I could just kiss you!! :hug:Instead here is a virtual hug!! Thank you so much for remembering, and putting your thoughts in here!! And to all of you waiting to retake.. read it... and look up every point of what she said, that's what I did after studying my butt off with a Cm Certification study guide that made me more confused......Fattaruso 3rd edition.....So good luck!!

Hi CMWanabe! You are so very welcome. I'm so glad you passed! Just goes to show ya, that when you post something on here, you never know who it may help. I just wrote down everything I remembered from the exam, and I did it as soon as I got home. I'm just glad the information posted was helpful to you. Sorry you had to leave your baby behind. That's always tough. But, your baby will be so proud one day of all that you've accomplished, Hang in there!

Hi everyone.Just curious as to how your work place rewards you for getting your CCM.Where I work we get a $1000 bonus each year and get $250.00 reimbursment for taking the exam.

Where are you all getting free CCM credits from?

Hi All,

I also am selling the Certistep (DataChem) CCM prep CD Version 4.1, DC7-V, 2007 for $125. Please private e-mail me if interested and for a photo upload. Thanks. Many of the CD questions were similarly worded on my CCM exam. I passed by reading the "Core Curriculum for Case Managment" by Powell and answering questions on this CD. I felt totally prepared because the CD questions test you in all domains and show you your weakness and strengths!

Looks like we are in the same boat; I did not pass in July either. I feel Dec. will be much better and we will know after completing the exam if we passed or not...which we will!
