I haven't been able to find out much about this hospital. Only 1 very negative post. Would love to have the convenience of being close to a big city without having to actually live in it! I've also noticed housing prices are cheaper in the area. Just wondering if it's for good reason, or if it's underdeveloped. I would also like to hear about Arizona City if anyone has any info.

I live in Casa Grande. I did my cna clinical there. I was able to meet so many nurses (CNAs, LPNs, & RNs) that wanted to do everything they could to help you. They were SO nice. and then there were the bad apples that give that hospital a bad name. they are just there for a pay check and could care less about anybody else. I really enjoyed PACU & Day Surgery, I didn't get the chance to be in L&D but heard from other classmates that they loved it. I only had a problem with med surg. I ran into 1 bad CNA there. She was horrible. Other than that it was a good experience, and one day would like to go back and work there. As for AZ city I know the homes are a little bit cheaper than CG. I don't know anything else. but I haven't been out there in years. It's probably about a 20 min drive from AZ city to the hospital. Casa Grande is just starting to grow. and thats why the home are still reasonable priced. I hope I answered all your questions.

The name of the Hospital is Casa Grande Regional....It does have a bad rep but like the previous person said- There are bad apples and good ones..
The housing market is going way up here too. For a 3 bedroom 1,500 sq ft in a newer community- the prices is about $215, 000 base- 225,000 (add about 10, 000 for basic upgrades) CG is not really a "small" town anymore.. WE are growing like crazy.. We have home depot, Chillis, Johnny Carinos and All the chain pharmacy stores, lots of eateries, Superstore Walmart and lots more coming.. Near CG, in Coolidge houses are going for about 160,000 , Arizona City is a SMALL TOWN, Coollidge is growing too.. We moves to CG 5 years ago thinking we stay for a few years and now we love it..There is still some small town mentality but with all the new housing communities its just a matter of time before more and more people come from the Valley.. (I hope this helps.. I seem to babbling....studying for micro mid-term...)
