Care planning guides

Hi all! I am wondering what the best way is to "learn" to write a good care plan. I have Mosby's 5th edition care plan book and Mosbys guide to nursing diagnosis as well. I haven't written a real legit care plan in ages. I do write about teaching/planning/assessing daily, but not in the form that EC wants you to. Can someone who has apssed the CPNE tellme how they learned to write a solid care plan? Thanks...I only have LS3 left (taking it in a few weeks) then have to get in the CPNE mindset, so I figure starting early can't hurt....

Yeah. Contact Tina Logan in Pa..... It is so much more in depth than the study guide leads you to believe. She has an online careplan group as well as a workshop. Both are priceless.

I am planning to take Sherri Taylors online workshop, does she offer in depth care planning???

I hear some good and not so good things about her stuff. I have to admit, I have read her careplan stuff on facebook, and found her helpful. I know some people swear by her careplan course. I use Tina Logan in Pa and find her wonderful. I went with her over Sherri because Tina is an actual EC grad.....Sherri is not. If that is important to you ( because it was to me). Also Tina is about 2 hours from me where Atlanta is about 900 miles. IT Depends how much you want to do.

Whatever you do, do get some help. I can't imagine doing it without someone's help.

good luck

Well, I need to take an "online" version of the workshop, all of them are WAY too far for me to travel. Not sure if Tina has an online workshop or not. If so, I will look into that as well.

I am taking Sheri's and love it-just commented on your other post about it!! Heard great things about both but can only comment on the one I am taking. Good Luck!!
