I am not sure what it is like overseas, but I work in a Cardiac Unit that also serves as overflow for med surg and it is BUSY. RUNNING and running to get the basics done for 6 patients plus answer calls from Docs pharmacy, lab, family, ect. I wanted to work with cardiac patients, but it is SO much busier than I thought. I am a new graduate nurse so there is a ton of new learning thrown in that does slow me down. I am sure being in 2 years you would have an easier time acclimating.
