I am thinking of taking a new position in a cardiac care unit in a community hospital. I would like to know if there are any RN's out there that do this type of nursing. I know I will need to get ACLS certified, but how difficult is cardiac nursing compare to other specialties? ( dialysis, ortho, etc.). Thanks for your input;)

I have been working in heart hospital as a RN nurse, Head nurse and training Supervisor for 20 years. Gaining your knowledge and skill in any field of nursing make easy everything. In CCU "thinks" is the most important, but in ICU and hemodialysis....." act" may make you busier. Interest and motivation can help you to make decision and then reassure your success
