Hi nursebrownsugah, don't give up! I took my PN NCLEX and didn't pass it. I was crushed to be honest. I'm still a little depress but I gotta keep pushing and striving for myself and my husband who has been supporting me. I was so anxious and exhausted when taking the exam....I got to a point were I was just clicking away answers. I didn't take any breaks (that's where I went wrong). Everyday I try to tell myself this test is not bigger than I am...I can do this in the name of Jesus Christ. I know its hard... every now and then I still find myself crying but we can overcome this! This too shall PASS!
I truly thank-you for your beautyful words of encouragement! I will say this the first time I did it I failed miserably, the second time I did much better,( no below pass). It's time to return to work, family, spouse Etc. I'm not sure if I should invest in Kaplan this time... I have been working w/Saunders 5th ed and Exam... If you have other suggestions that has helped you I welcome them. THANKS

Hi nursebrownsugah,
You should consider working with a tutor. Tutoring can help you to identify the areas that are difficult for you and also teach you test strategies that would help you in understanding and responding to your questions.

I used Kaplan and only Kaplan. It seemed to work for me. I took my Nclex-pn Oct 10 and passed.
How do you know how you did?

I used ati and Saunders i tested May 2011.know your common lab values. I also brushed up on common diseases and their patho. Remember ABC and RACE. Know common dosage calculations as well. I ate a good dinner the night before and stopped studying 24hrs before my test. I took 2.5 hours and had minimum amount of questions. I took my time and thought hard before answering.Good luck!!!!!
Hey nursebrownsugah, I wanted to let you and anyone else reading this post not to give up because you can beat this test! It's only by the Grace of God that I pass my examination! I did the Kaplan online classroom anywhere,NCSBN and did the did the ReMar Review! The main key for me was to control my nerves. You guys can do this. And make sure you believe this too :) Best of luck to you and God Bless!
