Canadian RN New Grad Seeking Residency Program in Florida

Hi all!

I will be graduating from a Canadian university with my BScN in April of 2022. I'm super interested in the new RN grad residency program in Florida. We don't have these programs in my province (Alberta) and the transition from new grad to RN is basically sink or swim. 

Any information on how competitive the residency programs are in Florida? I'm looking at ICU/CVICU as a speciality. Also, does anyone know of any Canadian new grads who have done a residency at any hospital in the US?
