Canada to UK: NMC registration

Hi!

I'm a first time poster. I was wondering if anyone can help me answer this before I go ahead and call after the Easter weekend.

I am looking to go do Nursing in the UK but I have zero experience at the moment post-registration. Fortunately, I am supposed to start a job next month and plan to stay with it until at least January. Will 8 months suffice for registration?

Anyone have a similar experience??

I am only doing this so I can follow my husband to the UK for the duration of his law studies.

Any advice appreciated.

NMC is a long road and plenty of threads here discussing the issues. Check NMC website but I believe you need 12 months full time or part time equivalent work experience post grad
