Hey everyone, I was hoping to find some wisdom from anyone who's taken a Distance Nursing program in Canada, and where/ which university I can find such a program in. Thank you all soooo much for your help. I was considering the Distance LPN course at Norquest and then transferring into a distance Nursing course after at Athabasca, although im not to sure if that is infact distance. Any help from the community would be much appreciated. Currently im working as a medic and I do remember one of my co workers taking a distance nursing course a few years back.

Are you a military medic? If so contact Norquest directly. They have in the past put through groups of medics from the Field Ambulance Units in Edmonton. There are practicums involved. The Medics were required to obtain the LPN designation before they could be enrolled in the OR and Ortho Tech programs.
