SEPTEMBER 2012 CPNRE Exam

World Canada CRNE

Published

to all nurses out there who are planning to take the September 2012 CPNRE, please post any concerns, issues and suggestions in this thread. I'm also planning to take the test on September, I'm an internationally educated nurse and I need to learn a lot about nursing in Canada. Any advice from previous exam takers would be very much appreciated.

Yes! It was way more than what I expected !

I attended the workshop and we were told that they have a standard score of passing now, and the safest is around getting 72%

half of the people was able to finish the exam before the due time and seeing them leave before me ....not a good feeling.

is that true? i hope others will comment or post on this thread also.

Most of us finished just right on time. But not enough to review the answers... I hope they would lower down the passing score...

i hope they would.....most of the questions pertains to Priority....to many distractors.

Right! And it seems that the choices were just almost similar with each another

'Each other'

i did the exam last may and from my opinion it was way easier than this one, i did not take any review course in may and ended up failing. this time i actually studied, did two weeks review workshop and it felt like im not going to pass again. it was so hardddddd :(

Well, goodluck to all of us :) i'm really afraid about the results... Yes! It was damn hard! Harder than any exam that i took my entire nursing career! Let's just pray and have faith :) nothing is impossible with GOD :)

ill need a miracle :p

No, it's a basic entry to practice exam. Nothing that wasn't covered in the college course that practical nurse students take.

Remember the safety of the Canadian public is the number one priority.
