This is the first time I've ever had to create a resume and would really appreciate some input before I send it out! I graduated from an LPN in August :) The formatting is a little off cause it was copy/pasted from Word. I'd like to work at the health department or planned parenthood.

I was just reviewing some of the health department job openings here in Georgia myself. I'm really trying to move into community/public health and out of the acute care setting. Have you had a chance to look over the requirements for nursing positions? These are state government jobs with very specific requirements. I do recall seeing some LPN positions. If you find one that interests you, you may want to consider devising a cover letter describing why you feel you would be an asset to the facility when you have no paid nursing experience.
This is not meant to minimize your desire, but to put you in the running with those who have experience and are interested in the same positions that you are. You obviously have supervised experience in the area, but paid nursing experience tends to win against non-experienced nurses every time....unless there is a higher degree or certification in the running for the same position. You have to make yourself shine brighter than the brightest bulb in the group.
Your contributions are impressive. I would reword the objective somewhat. I think you should have some mention of your desire to serve your community. Your objective, as it stands, looks like you're wanting something from them as opposed to having something to offer as far as being an asset to them.
Just my opinion...
