You certainly can pass the CPNE. I did it with no hospital experience. You are given the study material and if you study and practice and take a workshop, you can pass. Go for it! Good luck.

When this nursing program first started people were allowed to enroll with no healthcare experience at all. If those people could pass the CPNE, so can you. Basically you learn your critical elements, set up a practice patient bed in your home, attend a workshop or two, and practice, practice, practice. Suggest you obtain Rob's DVD, available at http://www.Rob'sCPNE.com. Lots of good info here. There are also other study materials out there to help you out.

Yep--some people who are not currently in patient care at all (like me) pass the CPNE (hopefully like I will do this month).

one thing about ec is it don't really make a difference if you have been a nurse 50 years or 50 min..its all about doing it the ec way. i have found that experience can be a hinder as i am totally having to re-do the way i practice and learn everything how ec wants it ...

i will be in racine on january 23, 24, and 25. dang - it's getting close! i'm taking hubby and my daughters with me. i would miss them too darned much. they'll do a ton of swimming in the hotel's pool, i guess!
Hope it's not too cold for swimming. Good luck applescruffette.
I think it's an indoor pool. Otherwise they'll have to fit in the bathtub. :)

oh, i will! if anyone was willing to give their phone number to an internet nerd person like me, i'd be happy to text a brief day-by-day update, if that is allowed (or if anyone cares! lol). i get very impatient waiting for people to post their results after 3 days. i'm like a jg wentworth commercial. "it's my money, and i need it now!"
very good...i am testing about 1.5 hours from the house but will go alone as i need concentration time and a hot tub...lol good luck your time is getting close ...
