Hello,
I need some advise...
I just passed the NCLEX exam 2 weeks ago.My status is already active in Washington state BON but I don't have my license yet. I have to wait 6 weeks for it. My question is if I can still work a an RN even though I don't have my license with me yet?
Thank you. :)

As long as you have your licence # I would think that you're good to go. Sometimes the actual paper certificate takes longer. Double check with your classmates or colleagues.

The license number is all that is needed for applications. That is available online. If you already have a job offer, you would have to ask that facility what they require. In my experience, 100% of the time all the facility wants is proof of a valid license, which is available online. Many no longer ask for copies of the actual license to eliminate the chance it will be used fraudulently.
Thank you...
I tried looking online for it but I'm not sure if the Credential no. and the license no. is the same in the provider credential search?

Yes, because the license IS the credential.
I have a couple of licenses where I don't get a hard copy one. To save money, all they send me is an email with the number, and anybody who wants to verify it has to go to the verification page on the BoN website.
