Can EC grads take TN boards?

Does anyone know if Excelsior grads can definitely take Tennessee boards? Georgia girl looking for Plan B!

Need to go to the TBON. Also right now there is a major issue with GBON not accepting EC grads via endorsment from other states!

TBON doesn't list EC as approved school so I'm hoping someone has some recent real life experience with them.

I spoke with them a few months ago and they will let EC grads sit for boards.Leo2

The problem is that if your state doesn't recognize Excelsior, they might not even let you endorce back to your state. I've already tried getting information for that route regarding my home state of California.

I've contacted the TN BON and they have said Excelsior is okay. My contact was Joan Harper at the BON, and she stated "Excelsior is an approved college and you can take the NCLEX exam".

The problem is that if your state doesn't recognize Excelsior, they might not even let you endorce back to your state. I've already tried getting information for that route regarding my home state of California.

I believe GA is looking for additional experience before endorsing them in. 500 hours or thereabouts.
