Can anyone tell me more about the role of a ER Nurse Auditor/Trauma Registrar?

I am looking at nursing jobs to apply for online. I came across one titled "ER Nurse Auditor/Trauma Registrar". I googled it and search for it online and only came across one indepth article. I have contacted someone to see if I can get a description of the job, but no reply. I believe it means someone who works in the ER and collects data on each patient such as type of emergency, age, and outcome. Am I correct? Is it somewhat similar to case management? Thanks in advance!
