Can anyone tell me how to prepare for FNP board exam???

Published

Hello NPs:

I will be graduating in Dec, 2023 from FNP program in LIU-Post campus. I really need help on how and when to prepare for the board exam!! I will take AANP over ANCC because I heard that ANCC has more therapy and Medicaid-Medicare questions. And AANP is more clinical case studies. Anyways, now it's October, I have 2 months to graduate. I wonder when I should start studying the resources. I'm going to buy Leik FNP study book, and my school will offer Sasha Michelle study. I just don't know when I should buy study Q banks? Which study Q banks should I buy? I already applied AANP board exam with unofficial transcript now. I heard that applying before graduation will be faster to schedule the exam, is that true? I will just wait when I complete the course and send them the official transcript. So when I get the schedule, how many months I should schedule for? I don't want to wait too long to take the exam. Maybe within 2 months? Or one month? I'm kinda lost now. I'm not sure when I should start buying Q banks or studying the Leik book. Please!! The ones who already passed the AANP, please give me some advice on how, when I should start studying! And how to study! Any other good resources? Q banks are good??? When should I start doing questions! I am sooo lost! Please give me some advice!

Thank you!!
