Can anyone tell me what it's like to be an RN around Melbourne, FL?

I currently live in the SF bay area in CA, and I know I have very slim chances of finding a job here when I graduate in December. My husband and I also have three school-age children, which makes the cost of living even higher for us here. We do not own a house, so would be looking to rent. We have family in Orlando, so travel to FL every summer. If we move, we would possibly try out the Melbourne/Indie-atlantic area. The research I've done looks like there are good schools, and I have been looking at the Health First system, specifically Holmes Regional Medical Center, which looks like it has a state-of-the-art trauma center, including 7 cath labs, etc. An article in Scrubs magazine, quoting the Labor Bureau stated that RNs in FL make around $30/hr. It's impossible to know what it's really like to live and work there without some friendly input, though! Any knowledge, suggestions, advice, or input would be greatly appreciated!
