I am hoping that someone can help me. I recently graduated at the beginning of May and I will be taking my boards very soon. Every time I think about taking the exam I feel overwhelmed and sick to my stomach. Does anyone have any encouraging stories that will make me feel a little more at ease? If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

:welcome:to all-nurses. when i took boards i was surprisingly calm. i did take time to read all the questions twice and took a lot of deep cleansing breaths. i took myself to red lobster before my test and treated myself to some shrimp. i made sure i was at the testing center 30 min before so i would not rush and have traffic anxiety . i just worked on relaxing and telling myself "you can do it, you can do it". i also took my test in scrubs to me that helps. i get in a nurse frame of mind that way...good luck to you
