Hi fellow nursing students/nursing professionals,

Is there anything you take to calm your nerves or help your body handle stress?

Care to share?

God Bless you !

I work out. I'm a worrywart and stress easily so I work out 5/6 days a week. I am always in a great mood and so relaxed after a good, hard workout. :)

Make time to workout, even just 30 mins. I drink chamomile every night and take a hot bath on very stressful days. Vent your stress and then attack what's stressing you if you can (major exam coming up? Study now and feel a little better). Yoga is amazing too.

I really like Rescue Remedy, it has bach flowers, and it really works.

Meditation. Free, can be done anywhere, like anything else you get better and better at it the more you do it, useful in any sort of situation. Cranks up those endorphins, good for your head.

I keep thinking about learning yoga. I realize that doesn't have quite the same effect...
