Hi I am an RN BSN have been an opthalmic technician for man years with one year optmetry school under the belt. have many skills. Yet have not really found that you can work as an RN in ophthalmology can you let me know what your experience is like and what the pay is like. What the job market for this skill looks like. I would appreciate your feed back thanks.

I am registered nurse and have undertaken additional training to be an ophthalmic nurse. We have approved ophthalmic course here i uk. But once you have this ophthalmic qualification you can climb up to become specialist nurse practitioner e.g corneal nurse practitoner, glaucoma nurse practitioner, retinal nurse practitoner and so on. Regarding pay we are undergoing major changes at present time.
