calling all georgetown/maryland srna students!!

i was recently accepted to gtown and umd for fall 2012, however i wanted some insight on the program from the students before I make my decision. Thanks!

Which day did you interview at Georgetown wondering if we had met? Yeah I also applied to UMD and interviewed there January 3rd. Just got my acceptance letter yesterday and I have chosen to go with Georgetown. I was not as impressed with the program at UMD and I also prefer the area much more in Georgetown. In addition, the cost for me is very similar being a PA resident so that did not play much of a role. Also, I spent a lot of time with a CRNA who both he and his wife were Georgetown graduates and they had nothing but great things to say about how well the program prepared them for their career. Also, the chief CRNA at my hospital told me that I should go to Gtown because he said they produce the best CRNA's that he has hired. Don't know if any of that helps but figured I would tell you. i interviewed jan 12, ive also spoken to current students who are in the program and students who have graduated, i heard mixed reviews and most of them kept saying they didnt have much support; well i could see how that would be given such a large class. its a tough decision but i have my heart set on umd, although umd is further from me, im willing to commute daily...best of luck!!
