I am planning to apply to Southwestern Community College (RN Progam) but they require you to have be a CNA to get on their list. They have a CNA program but its 1 whole semester! Im finishing up my general ed which I only need 5 more classes and 2 PE courses. I dont want to "waste" my semester so to speak on something that isnt transferable. I also wanted to graduate with my associates degree. According to my current school I can graduate with an associates degree in biology with an emphasis in health. Does anyone know of any CNA program in San Diego that is affordable and takes less time than a semester?

Check with your local Red Cross. I think they have a full time one or two month class that gets you your CNA.
