USC university hospital NEW grad residency

U.S.A. California

Published

Hey!!! i am going to LA in a week to interview for the new grad residency program. Has anyone already interviewed, or know anything about their residency program, esp for the cardiac telemetry position? Do you know what it's like for new nurses to work there and any advice would be helpful.

hi,

From reading the posting, it seems to me that you just need to have it before the program starts. So I think youre good if youre taking it this November :)

Quick question for anyone to answer: I know the personal statement should be no more than 2 pages, did you all double space or single space?

I would use 1.5 spacing.

Does anyone know when people are contacted for the brunch? And previous cohorts: approximately how many positions are available??

Does anyone know when we're supposed to hear back from them?

I thought they should be contacting people for interview from Nov. 22-Dec.17, if I remembered correctly. The information was on their website.

Yes that's what it says on their website. Seems so long.

Just dont think about the date tomato head. I am too busy with everything else in my life to even think about it. The way I see it, the pot doesnt boil when I am watching it.

You're right.

Meanwhile you can ask ---- for any missing document and status of your application.:D

I emailed ---- on OCT 13 and she said had my complete packet and the team will be going over all applications.

Tomato head, so USC is going over ALL applications? Regardless of when it's turned in? I turned it in the last day so I hope they will look at my application.
