Trying to get into an ROP, using scorched earth approach :)

Hey everybody!

I'm changing careers and I'm trying to become a LVN. So I joined THIS great site and found out about Regional Occupational Programs (thanks to all you righteous folks!).

I've already applied at two ROP programs in the San Fernando valley and tomorrow I'll be applying at two more in LA & Orange county (believe me the hellish commute would me MORE than worth it!).

Anyways, I was wondering if this is a good approach? I figure the more places I apply the better my chances are of getting in! Also, does anyone have any idea what might be on the entrance test? I'm no dummy but I haven't been in high school in what seems like forever and anyone who's watched ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER knows it's hard it can be to answer questions about things you've forgotten! I'd just like to refresh my memory.

Thanks everybody!

i have been on Regional occupational program and i cannot recall taking an entrance test or having to wait just to get accepted. Anyways, they have pre-requisites like passing the medical terminologies and must have atleast B or above for major health related courses like plebotomist, CNA, OR tech etc etc. Your chance of getting in is more likely higher with your approach.
