Scripps New Grad Nurse Residency 2013

U.S.A. California

Published

Hello fellow new grads!

I'm starting this post to round up all the applicants for the 2013 cohort at Scripps in San Diego. I called HR today and they were rather tight-lipped about when the application would post, and was told "It will post in about 30-45 days" and to "keep checking the website". Enlightening, isn't it? Also to those who applied for the last round and will be re-applying, any tips you want to share for us newbies? thanks and I look forward to hearing from everyone that's just as stressed as I am.

Almost had a heart attack got an email from scripps. But it was just one of my panelist replying to my thank you email. Does that mean something!???? Aahhhhh!!!

I have no idea... I received two responses out of the four, but it was nice to hear back anyways. :)

i havent heard back from any! i mean i guess its been a little over a day haha but still...i hope thats not a bad sign that its just that my interviewers are bad emailers haha

Ok, so I've exercised, twice, and cleaned the litter box, and the kitchen, and put dishes away and made a protein shake....

Now what?

I'm trying hard to keep busy hoping that Friday will fly by but I doubt it. I'm so nervous!

I've been silently following/stalking this thread and I am glad I am not the only one anxiously waiting for that email or phone call! (: I was wondering if anyone was asked what unit they preferred to work on?

Hi, Tiffanikris, and welcome. :)

I wasn't asked which unit I wanted to work on, however was told during the interview "wow, sounds like you should be working in oncology". Some people were asked, I think, and I know last time we were asked.

Hey there! I was asked about which unit I preferred, but it maybe depends on which panel you had? Who knows... let the overanalyzing begin :)

Tomorrow is another day everyone!!! Good night! I hope to sleep tonight, last night, not so much.

Good night, sleep tight. :)

Yeah I was told that you are put on one of the units of the managers who interviewed you if they choose you. If more than one of your interviewers chooses you then you get to choose which of their units you wold want to work in.
