Scripps New Grad Nurse Residency 2013

U.S.A. California

Hello fellow new grads!

I'm starting this post to round up all the applicants for the 2013 cohort at Scripps in San Diego. I called HR today and they were rather tight-lipped about when the application would post, and was told "It will post in about 30-45 days" and to "keep checking the website". Enlightening, isn't it? Also to those who applied for the last round and will be re-applying, any tips you want to share for us newbies? thanks and I look forward to hearing from everyone that's just as stressed as I am.

Now I'm stalking this thread. And I have both phones by me. And I keep checking my email. Just in case, you know?

yeah at the interview they told us we would know by the 7th...but online on the orientation information section i believe it says like the 13th-20th or something? maybe 15th-20th? i asked and she said we should for sure know by the 7th though unless something comes up and they need to interview more or something.

If when you asked for contact info one person just wrote their name and hospital and no email or address is that a sign they aren't interested. -- sorry obsessing here

Peppered, it's [email protected].

(I hope I can post that here.)

Coriander,

Thanks for welcoming me, and yes, I know exactly what you mean! I know the paper said by the 7th, but man this is so rough! If anyone hears back and wants to share the hopefully great news, that would be wonderful!

Thank you coriander!

A little off topic, but I am curious....

For those of you who have interviewed with Scripps before but didn't obtain a position, when you re-applied, did you use the same information the first time around or change it up each time?

Are you referring to the supplemental questions? I changed those, I think, simply because I didn't remember what I said last time. :)

The questions I was given at my interview were different from the ones I received last time. The major difference this time was me, and how I was more relaxed.

We will see if any of that worked. LOL

Hi everyone!!! I'm obsessing as well :/

I'm wondering if this thread will beat 40 pages by the time we're done. :)

Yes, I'm referring to the supplemental questions on the app. Thanks Coriander! I guess overtime as you go through more interviews, you become less nervous and more relaxed.

You're welcome.

Man, you guys have been quiet. I guess I have to get off my forum-stalking butt and exercise. *Sigh*. lol
