I am thinking of going to school in CA, but am not familiar with it. What are some good BSN programs?

Can you be a little more specific as to the part of California that you are interested in? There are excellent BSN programs all over the state, too mnay to list here.

I was thinking somewhere near the coast.

In nothern California, bay area.

Samuel Merritt College in Oakland-my friend just completed her BSN there and is very pleased-she now has a job at Stanford Med center.

I have heard the San Francisco State University has a good program and is more affordable than a private school.

san diego state university has a good BSN program.

fresno state has a good program and housing is cheap...but like anywhere else there is are loads of people that get turned down

Specializes in NICU, High-Risk L&D, IBCLC.

Here's a link to the California Board of Registered Nursing website detailing all the approved BSN programs in the state.....
