Right?! The wait is killing me.

From what I've heard, anyone with an 85 or higher has pretty much a guaranteed acceptance.

Based on all the past data I'd like to think I am a go with my score, but it's like when you have a low A in a class and do well on the final. You're PRETTY sure you got the A but it'd make you feel a lot better to see the final grade. lol

I feel the same way. Everyone is telling me that i'll get in with 88 points but i need the admissions letter to feel truly good about it.

I applied for the Spring 18' semester also. I applied with 82 points, so I am especially nervous because I feel right on the edge. I would love to find out before Thanksgiving and wonder if decisions will be made any earlier now that everything was submitted electronically.

Does anyone know if they send out an update on the progress of applications? I remember looking last year and there was an update telling people the point cut off at the 80th person and 150th person. While they were preliminary because nothing had been verified it would be nice to know what the points are looking at and how many people applied.

For the spring semester they have always done it the last Friday of October so I'm hoping that finally happens tomorrow!

Hi there!

I applied for the Spring Semester even though I don't have the greatest amount of points.

I have a 3.81 GPA

I scored an 88.7% on my TEAS

and I'm hopefully getting 9 points from the extra criteria.

Overall I have 74 points. I was wondering if you are automatically denied if you are under the cut off point or if I still have a chance of getting on the weight list?

Thanks! Good luck to everyone! :)

I was told by the admissions coordinator that the applicants who are ranked 125+ will receive a rejection letter immediately after the update email that's supposed to go out tomorrow.

Emails are out! I have a question - does anyone know why there's a sudden drastic change from the spring applicant norm?!? Why is it all of a sudden more than 300 people applying? It's always been under 300 maximum students applying to sac state in the spring. I'm getting so anxious because these statistics on the sac state website are different than what is happening now, 370 applicants...

I totally am as confused as you! Also, the point values have never increased by more than 3 in a single semester and typically go down for the spring semester. I am not sure what is happening or why, but if anyone has any incite I would love to know it!!!! Hopefully there is a huge computer malfunction in calculating points and it's figured out when they manually verify it.
