I.E prenursing students?

Hello! I just wanted to say hi to all of the pre nursing students in my area (the Inland Empire). I was wondering what route and school you guys have chosen to get your nursing license an how you have overcome the financial aspect. I already have my plan in motion but it never hurts to see and hear about new and different ways of doing things! :)

Hello! I am also from the I.E, well currently from Hemet/San Jac area attending RCC. I am hoping to finish my ADN at RCC and then enroll in a RN-BSN bridge program. I chose such route, because BSN programs are very competitive to get in, and I will finish my ADN much faster. I am hoping to find a job with an ADN though, now that I am reading a lot about how hospitals require at least a BSN. :-/ Anyhow I will probably keep reseraching right now more about this.. lol :nurse:

Hello! I am applying this september already! I am so excited to start nursing school next spring! :D I am feeling very hopeful in getting admitted at RCC. I am also however considering LLU, but I must research more on there program. And how about you? :)

Hi there! I'm a current student @ RCC. All done with my pre-recs, waiting to apply this year in sep-oct. I'm doing a month long CNA course in Corona, just to boost my chances of getting into the program, since I'm right at the cut off point. Another school I was hoping to apply to is San Bernardino Valley, but they want the HESI and it is $90. I believe I have a good chance of getting in there too : )

This fall I'm just taking History 6 and 1 filler class to get a 2nd associates degree(Why not? lol). My back up plan is to also reapply to Loma Linda since I did not get in, re take the teas, also I'm gonna apply to Cal State San Bernardino as a Health Science major JUST incase I do not get in anywhere. I been in college since 09' I just wanna get in somewhere!!! lol.

Financial Aid has covered everything for me so far. If I get into RCC or Valley, my pell grant should cover just about everything.

My plan is since I'll be taking the CNA course, I can work per diem somewhere in the mean time, to get a steady cash flow to help me with gas, food, etc...
