Hey, I have an interview at Simi Valley Hospital for "CPOE Superuser" has anyone heard of this? I wonder if it is like the ones you guys are talking about.

Specializes in Telemetry.

I think so, the post is still open on their website.

are they still hiring?

Hi chill! Yup you can try. They'll start the interview next week. I applied last Friday and I received a call today.

Specializes in Hospice.

it says in their post that there's no guarantee that ull have the job after the training...

how is that so?

and do u know how much does it pay?

I received a call on thursday from Corona Regional. I went to test today. They told us the for 2 months you start off as a CNA you received 10.88hr the shifts are 3days 12hrs a day. Then being that there is R.N. positions you get promoted to R.N. the pay goes to 31.80. However that is if you pass the behavioral/personality battery test given. Then you move on to a one on one interview if you pass that then you move on to the panel interview. hope this helps

Hi OcRNBear,

Do you mind sharing how you got this job? I've been applying for CNA positions, but haven't gotten any responses. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

OcRNbear,

How did you get in contact with the recruiter? Just called the hospital's main line and asked for the nurse recruiter?

Specializes in being a Credible Source.
I would say contact the recruiter and just keep on asking questions and bugging them until they give you an interview I have heard that has worked to land a job.
Beware of this advice. Bugging them is perhaps more likely to get your e-mails dumped to the spam folder and your calls ignored. Nobody likes to be bugged.

The h.r recuiter's name is ---- dont have her number I declined the postion. However my friend is working there he was telling me that he has 18 patients a shift. I have been told by experinced nurse that it is dangerous working as a C.N.A its high liability because You are a R.N. if you dont or do interverne in a emergancy it can be held against you in court. I walked away from that mess. My friend is over worked and under paid 10.88 hr plus its not union so IF you do promote to RN being that there is jobs You get a set rate of 31.86 I dont think its worth it.

As getting a job as a C.N.A I know they are very short staffed according to my friend. If you have applied call and just follow up nicely I m not sure if Pearl is the recuirter as well for C.N.A job. I think 10.88 is very low pay for C.N.A's that have 18patients to provide care for. Best of luck if you have any questions feel free to ask.

does anyone have experience working as a care partner and then transitioning on to an RN position? feedback is greatly appreciated. thank you.

My friend worked as a cna he did it for 3mos. If they like you and you work out they promote you to rn.
