I've been trying to get in contact with some of the nurse recruiters in the Los Angeles area, but very few of the hospital websites have contact information.

Does anyone know how to find the email addresses or phone numbers for Saint Johns in Santa Monica, Good Samaritan, Kaiser, Hollywood Presbyterian or any of the other hospitals in the area. Thanks!

Their Human Reources office will sometimes transfer the calls to recruiters; the problems is having the recruiter answer the phone! I've left numerous messages to many over the past roughly three months and I just got a response via email. She let me know she received my call and was basically answering my question (s) through my email...which she had to get from my resume. Anyways, I left so many I lost count. Turn in as many applications as you can, leave messages, check status on applications, stay active and don't give up! Perserverance is a must at this time...we have to stay afloat girls and men! Good luck in your job hunting!) Stay positive no matter who says what!

I saw a couple of RN I positions open at Children's Hospital Central California. It says 0-6 months experience so it's worth a shot to apply.

Thanks for the suggestions. The hospitals seem to want to make it as confusing as possible.

Childrens's hospital in Central Ca is a Magnet Hospital. Totally amazing there and they treat their nurses amazingly!

There's a new listing for UC Davis for a new grad position in a vascular/GI surg unit. They prefer applicants to have their clinicals in this unit, and I think it's how decide to call you for an interview.

Here's the link.

Check on RN/ new grads...

Scripps Encinitas has another posting today. BSN required. ((Looks like they took down the listing already, doh!)

Has anyone heard from Scripps Mercy after their interviews? I think someone mentioned they were supposed to be contacting people last week.

Thanks Starzburst for the new grad listing. It is pretty extensive and made me realize how much more work I need to do to find a job in California.

About the Scripps Mercy interviews, the talent manager should have contacted everyone via e-mail regarding whether or not they received a second interview. I was (unfortunately) one of those people who didn't get a second go around. Hopefully, things will get better. I graduated in Dec. 2008 and feel like I'm forgetting things the longer I go without a job. They say if you don't use it, you'll lose it. =(

Thanks for the info. I've been checking my status on their site and its been saying "Resume under review" since I got the interview. I just emailed the talent manager so hopefully I'll hear something back soon.

I've been trying to keep the list updated everyday, but it's a lot of info to go through so I've just been doing hospitals I know that have New Grad programs. I wish I had done it sooner because I missed out on a couple New Grad programs that had apps up right around the time I graduated.
