I have tried to apply for a job, but was told to get my license first. I started my endorsement application process in September 2017, and just got my license this week May 23 201. Good luck.
OMG 8 months!? Sounds like a nightmare! I sure hope it doesn't take me 8 months to get mine!

Just thought I would put a timeline of my license by endorsement process. I went to do the fingerprints in CA the week before submitting my entire application online (including email requests for transcripts) on 4/4/2018.

My application status on Breeze has been "pending - open" since submitting the application. On May 21st, the processing times website was updated to include applications submitted from April 1-15 so I thought my license may go through soon. It took almost 4 weeks but I logged into Breeze on June 15th and saw my application status disappeared and I was able to lookup my license online. Total time for me was 10 weeks and 2 days.

If anyone is looking for current info...i received endorsement about 2 months after I sent in the application. I think the fingerprinting process takes the longest. It didn't hurt that i had been visiting California last Sept and did the LiveScan in Bonita, Ca. So they could look up my fingerprints easily.

I heard the fee for endorsement is now 350$

Hi. Did anyone go up to Sacramento to turn in their endorsement papers? Do they take transcripts from your school as long as they are sealed--and is the wait time in line long? Thank you!

Hi everyone,I applied for California licensure by endorsement since April 14th and I'm yet to see my license information in my breeze account nor have I gotten any correspondence from them till now. I have been calling every week to follow up but the representatives keep telling to wait till my time frame. The processing time was updated today and it's moved past my time frame but still yet to see any update on my license information. I called the license office today and I was told my file will be re- forwarded again which have been told severally. I've asked to speak with my evaluator countless times and was told I can't speak with him/her except I have correspondence. On the two occasions I was transferred to speak with the evaluator, no one picked the call and I left voice message but got no response.
At this point, I'm really confused because I do not know what is causing the delay and I'm seeking people's opinion on what I should do next on this process.

    Thank you,

I think you just need to wait at this point. My license recently posted and it happened after the processing dates had also moved ahead of my application date. Mine took a month after being within the processing time to be posted. I notice the processing times seem to be moving more slowly recently so everything will likely be slower. I would give it at least another month and then follow up again.

    Hi all,
I wanted to post my timeline so that I could be of help to others in search of some sort of reference (although I realize there doesn't seem to be any consistency to any part of this process)
5/8/18 - contacted nursing school to send transcripts (this took a few days for them to gather before they were mailed out)
5/10/18 - submitted online application through Breeze for permanent license, requested Nursys verification
5/22/18 - Manual fingerprint cards delivered to BON, per USPS tracking info (I only filled out one of the cards, sent the other back blank)
    7/17/18 - License number posted
9 weeks and 5 days total, from when my online application and payment was processed.
I never contacted the BON, deficiencies were never noted on my account, nor did my status ever go blank or change from open/pending.
My license was processed within the correct processing time frame that is currently posted on their site.
Hope this is helpful to some, and sending positive processing vibes your way!

350 is just the cali nursing fee, the live scan fee another 50, sure I already paid 15 for my electronic official transcripts but thats not good enough, they have to have it electronically sent to them not from you, cause your a liar, then 30 to nursye to verify that your a nurse in that state, lets see, 90, +350, lets not forget that 2x2 passport picture you'll ,need as well. I did a live finger print scan here in california for the state of Hawaii, you think that's on record from the DOJ? yes it is but they still want another 50 dollars anyway, when the hell does the nickel and diming ever stop? honestly i could care a less about being an RN, i have a license from the state of Hawaii, but to endorse it here, it'd probably just be easier to have coffee with the lord, **** this proffession

Can someone help? I am in a tricky situation. I applied and got my temporary license by endorsement back in March 2018. Then I got a letter saying that I need to send my transcripts that show I took oral communication, psychology, and social science classes. I already sent in all my transcripts but whoever the evaluator was didn't think they match the requirement. Anyway, my temporary license will expire in September and I have submitted a justification letter to BON a while ago but haven't heard anything back. I am not sure what to do at this point. Should I visit BON in person and explain?

I just wanted to give people a timeline of my endorsement from PA to CA, as this thread has been incredibly helpful for me. It took about six weeks in total for me.

6/28- Application turned in at Sacramento, Live Scan done in Sac, Transcripts sent, PA verification sent
    7/3- Check cashed
8/10- Full License/ Temp License received

During my processing time (which was when my application was received rather than when my check was cashed), I called a couple of times regarding deficiencies on my account on 8/10 and resent my verification and my transcripts on 8/10. CA BON thankfully received all the materials very quickly and promptly granted me my license at the end of the day on 8/10. Everyone was very helpful in my situation and quite efficient.

    Hi sourapril!

I am partly on the same boat as you. I have also submitted a letter of justification to BON regarding additional documents from my university. So far they haven't replied yet. Have you heard from them since? Or did you contact BON instead?
