Advice for LVN new grad (acute hospital)

  1. Can anyone give me some advice on hospitals in LA that give a fairly good starting wage to an LVN new grad, or is a sub-acute facility a better option at first? Examples: UCLA, CEDARS, KAISER, ST JOHNS, VA, ETC.

P.S. is it really that important for new LVN's to work in an acute hospital right away?
    Thanx

I am pretty sure UCLA is trying to move away from using LVN's, but I could be wrong. It's a great place to work, IMO if they are still hiring LVN's. It would definately be worth checking out!
