California nclex rn for IEN

Published

Hi i am an international BSN graduate, already working as an lvn here in california. I just submitted my application for the nclex rn. Yes i am pretty much aware of the concurrency issue. But i also heard of some IEN being eligible after applying from CaBon. I just want to start a thread for all those who are in the same situation as mine, so we can update each other with the process and additional documents that cabon will be asking from us. Thank u soooo much. Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas and Good Luck!

My application was not successful in 2010.

Although I am not applying for CA BON but I hope that this link will help you and somehow get in touch with some of the people who made it and were successful :)

Hi! Just want to share my experience although i cant offer much help, my prayers and encouragement are with you and to those who are goin thru the same thing :)

i graduated march 2015 from LPU-batangas. Im from the bay area but Licensed in the state of texas hoping to restart there coz of this cali bon problem. but i didnt like texas so transferring it to nevada, hopin to work in reno so itd be a 4 hr drive every week back home lol. I also sent an application on june 2015 to california got a response on sept 2015 where they asked for additional documents. sent them Nov. 2015. Havent heard since. i heard some people were able to take it in cali by studying again or really having concurrent 5 cases each (actual, assist, newborn care, major cases, minor cases, did i forget any) and got thru.

lets all hope for the best coz miracles do happen we worked hard for a reason.

if u have any questions about the additional papers they asked for lemme know.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE.

Hi kay please can u let me know what were the additional docs they asked from u? They asked my academic calendar and cases. I checked my cases, and my ob lecture and cases were done at ncm 101 which is 3 rd yr first sem. And ms cases and lecture ncm 102. Thank u so much

Same as yours plus curriculum and passport pages and copy of SSN. They asked for my other US transcripts since some of my classes got transferred to my university. Mine was 2nd year 1st sem ( ncm 101), 2nd sem (ncm 102). My ob cases were done during this year. Then 3 yr 1st sem (ncm 103), 2nd sem (ncm 104). Again ms cases were done during this year. If im not mistaken lol. How many cases did u do?

By the way. How long have you been waiting?

I submitted my online application last nov 6. Got a reply after a week for the academic calendar and cases. My school hasn't sent it yet due to the holiday. Probably they will submit it by january.
